Haha yeah that was the first thing that sprang to mind when I read this: is nobody going to mention mystery vs mistery, hmm, I guess we're just not going to mention it.

You must have Vista to play GW2.

I wouldn't take it too seriously, if you notice the Lightsaber in the picture, It is using a green blade with the hilt from A New Hope/The Empire Strikes Back, which is totally wrong, that blade color was blue.

EDIT

Highly doubtful, since Microsoft limits the size of content downloaded from Xbox Live. If they did ever make GW2 for the 360, that would make my day, as long as there was mouse/keyboard support.

It looks like a carbon copy of the orignal concept art and old in-game emeral blade before the blade was lengthened.

Microsoft and NCSoft are set to take over the world. You don't think Windows 7 with the innovative advance of cloud computing, forward thinking data mining, Tyrian product evangelists would result in a corporate strategy like this?

It can be either, depending on where you live.
On topic: Didn't anet say something a long time ago about the chat system being available outside of the game (or something along those lines)? As far-fetched as it is, they could be releasing that app on the Windows 7 Phone. Anything GW2 related is highly doubtful though; it's probably just a coincidence.

My guess is that the sword represents the game Dungeon Siege 3.

ANet didnt answered my tweet yet. I doubt they will.
Most likely the sword design was considered generic enough to pass un noticed. However the sword on the poster is an EXACT match of the emerald blade, so most likely the guy who designed the poster is standing in kamadan after work.

as for DS3 it does bear a resemblance to the hero sword, if this is the new design for it, they should probably check with anet first...
all i know is i never want to see GW destroyed trying to cram it on a console

I haven't been following E3 much, but with it underway now, has anyone heard/seen anything new about this?
